boots that you are familiar with.

can vary a lot,and it is better to take clothes
off if it gets too warm, rather than needing clothes when it gets cold.

things for personal use.
Don't forget
- Rainwear
- Mosquito net and lotion
- Cap/Hat
- Your passport, tickets and insurance policy, which your sponsor
club has to provide.
There is no need to bring a sleeping
bag.
Others
Remember
- The camp language is English
- To do you best at participation
- To talk about yourself and your country
- Protect the vulnerable Arctic nature
- Follow instructions from campcontacts, campleaders and local officials
Climate
- Due to the dry air it feels warmer than the thermometer shows. For example 50°F /10°C feels nice and warm, while minus the
same temperature does not seem particularly cold. However, it is always cold at sea, partly because the water temperature is
only a few degrees above freezing point. It is important to bring enough clothes and be prepared for sudden changes in
weather.
Be prepared
- The weather very important. Allways be observant of weather conditions. Be prepared of changes in program, also when
changes come at very short notice. In Greenland we sometimes have to say: Maybe we will stick to the program.
Have a nice and unforgettable time
